Morning, noon, or night, summertime is best spent on a patio, as we’re sure you’d all agree.
We are spoiled here in Fort Collins with so many great outdoor patio options. Warm summer mornings provide the ideal temperature before the day heats up. Lunchtime can now be spent outside with an iced tea instead of being spent warming up over a bowl of soup de jour. Afternoons and happy hours can now be enjoyed with plenty of daylight to spare. And dinner can be relished long into the evening without worrying about freezing once the sun goes down.
Now, the only problem you have is choosing which Fort Collins patio you want to spend your free time on… Life is tough, we know. We’ve picked a few of our favorites to share with you, because we just couldn’t keep these gems all to ourselves!
In no particular order, here we go:
The Egg & I. Ok we said in no particular order, but to start your day off right you need an egg-ceptional breakfast. Check out their two locations on Oakridge or College, and get your day off on the right foot
The Mainline. The Mainline provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle from the busy street below with one of the only rooftop Fort Collins patios. A nice beer, a glass of wine, or signature cocktail, it all tastes amazing up on the rooftop
Austin’s. Enjoy a quiet meal at the Harmony location, or people watch while sipping a cocktail at their Downtown location. Their food and drink will surely satisfy, and your time on the patio won’t disappoint either
Odell Brewing. This is a Fort Collins patio hot spot. With tons of tables and chairs (provided by yours truly), live music, local food trucks, corn hole, and delicious beers, we’re sure it’s not hard to sell you on this one
Mug’s. Need a spot to meet a friend or client for a quick cup of jo? Mug’s downtown location on the corner of Olive and College offers a relaxing setting that’s often shaded by trees. A perfect spot to catch up, grab a bite to eat, or get your caffeine fix
La Buena Vida. If you haven’t caught some shade on their patio enjoying classic dishes and cocktails, you’re missing out! A summer evening favorite for those looking for something a little spicier
The Moot House. Embrace the traditions of an old English pub at Moot House. Serving up wholesome, sustainable dishes and 30 craft beers on tap, their patio is great for any meal to spend some quality time with friends or family. You can spend all night there around their fire pit and if their bread pudding french toast will take your tastebuds on a journey to remember.
Your only problem is choosing which Fort Collins patio to enjoy! The best solution is a rotating schedule to savor every patio moment.
