Rentals

What time can I pick up and return my rentals?

Pick up after 3:00 pm the day before you ski/ride; return by 12:00 pm (noon) the day after.

Do multi-day rentals get a discount?

Yes, each additional day is 20% off the first-day rate.

What’s included in adult ski packages?

Sport Package: skis + Salomon S/Pro boots + poles
Premium Package: performance skis + Salomon S/Pro boots + poles
Demo Package: demo skis/snowboard + boots + bindings + poles (as applicable)
Pricing is listed by 1st day / extra day / weekly.

Do you rent snowboards and cross-country gear?

Yes—Snowboard Package (board + bindings + BOA boots) and Cross Country Package (Rossignol BC 80 + NNN BC boots + poles).

Do you offer kids’ rentals?

Yes, Kids (12 & under) ski and snowboard packages with Sport and Premium options; boots-only and gear-only rates available.

Can I apply demo fees toward a ski purchase?

Yes, up to $80 credit toward regular-priced skis; must be redeemed by Feb 15. There’s also a Demo Punch Card (3 demo ski-only rentals) available.

Do you rent helmets or poles separately?

Yes—adult and kids season packages with basic/performance/demo tiers; season insurance is $20.

Tuning & Repair

What tune packages do you offer and what’s included?

Silver Tune: ceramic side edge + machine wax (no base work)
Gold Tune: ceramic bottom & side edge + IR wax (no base work)
Platinum Tune: belt & stone grind, minor base repair (HRP), ceramic bottom/side edge base restructure, and IR wax.

Do you mount bindings?

Yes—Ski Mount & Prep services are available, with discounted pricing when you purchase skis/bindings; binding adjustment & function test is free with a binding mount.

What wax options are available?

InfraRed (IR) wax and machine hot wax services are offered.

Can you repair core shots and edges?

Yes, core shots are priced per inch (Platinum Tune required); edge repairs available by quote.

Is there a season-long tune plan?

Yes, Performance Agreement Cards include 2 Platinum Tunes + 8 Silver Tunes; a special rate applies when purchased with ski & binding purchases.

Do you rent helmets or poles separately?

Yes—adult and kids season packages with basic/performance/demo tiers; season insurance is $20.

  These guys are the best. Know their stuff, really good customer srvice with tunes and repairs..When I'm traveling out of town and sometimes need to use another shop, sometimes it reminds me of how good Outpost really is

  Ft Collins is blessed to have a retail store that provides world class ski and snowboarding equipment and boot fitting.    I have been buying my ski gear at Outpost Sunsports for 30 years.    Every pair of ski boots I have purchased with custom boot fitting have given me countless days of high performance and comfort.    All of the skiwear I have purchased have also been fantastic.   One of the ski coats I purchased was, frankly, the most expensive coat in the store but it has been one of the most incredible garments I have ever owned.    I have also purchased helmets, gloves, goggles, ski socks and more.    Keep an eye out for their sales and trust that they are absolutely committed to every customer’s satisfaction

  Everyone on the Outpost Sunsport team is always awesome to work with. When I first came in this season, Trevor helped point me towards a ski/binding + boot setup that has been everything I wanted and more on 20+ days this year. They have serviced my skis all season in a timely and quality fashion, and I would highly recommend working with Outpost the next time you’re in the market for new gear, or just need a tune!

  From the sale to delivery, everything was top notch. Outpost trading is my go to for quality outdoor furniture. The boat material is such good quality, so easy to clean and wears so good. The fire pit was delivered with the glass chips in place. It is all so beautiful!
