Effective on midnight on July 17, Governor Polis signed an executive order mandating Coloradans to wear face masks when in public. Of course, Outpost Sunsport has been encouraging the use of face coverings since our reopening in May. As the coronavirus continues to affect our communities, however, we’ve upped our protective measures.
Customers and employees entering Outpost Sunsport are (of course) required to wear a mask. We have also been utilizing UV sanitizing lights on sunglasses, goggles, keyboards, phones, and other small, high traffic items. Additionally, we have recently purchased and installed I-Wave Ionizers for our HVAC units. These filters are able to remove up to 94% of viruses in the air within 30 minutes.
It's important to note that these new sanitation techniques are in addition to, not a replacement of, social distancing, frequent hand washing, and store sanitizing. Employees are asked to stay home if they feel unwell, and we ask that our customers do the same.
Overcoming the coronavirus and keeping our community members safe will take participation from all of us. We are doing our part in keeping our customers safe, and we hope that you will join us! If you have any further questions for us, whether about our health safety precautions or patio furniture, please feel free to give us a call at 970-225-1455.
