Or hop on the Alberta Lift and exit right to hike up to the Step Bowl, Knife Ridge, or the Horseshoe Bowl. These backcountry runs will keep you busy with steep runs, rock drops, and cliffs. Note, these runs should only be tackled by advanced intermediate skiers, and you should always wear your helmet.

Complimentary cross-country skiing, don’t mind if we do! With close to 10 kilometers of cross-country ski trails as well; spend a day getting in some non-traditional cardio. You can tour a 4-kilometer loop around the meadow or take on a 6-kilometer loop that takes you to Alberta Reservoir and through the trees. Snowshoers are welcome to the trail as well. This area isn’t patrolled and it is recommended that you travel with a friend. Remember to leave yourself plenty of time to finish before it gets dark.

Whether it is a solid day trip filled with backcountry runs or a weekend getaway with the family, Wolf Creek has a bit of everything!
