Peak performance can be achieved without sacrificing a sense of fashion. At Outpost Sunsport, we make it our mission to help you gear up while still looking good. We carry top outerwear and sportswear brands that align themselves with this same mission. Let’s take a look at some of our top brands for this season:
Burton
Since their founding in 1977, Burton has developed into a powerhouse in the winter gear industry. While the company first started entirely geared towards building innovative snowboards, their presence as a clothing company has continued to grow by leaps and bounds. Their sponsorship list reads like a Winter Athlete Hall of Fame with names like Shaun White, Taylor Gold and Kelly Clark. We love the cutting edge technology that Burton partners with its fashion-forward trends. Check out these pieces for the upcoming season:
Patagonia
When Yvon Chouinard founded Patagonia, he never envisioned that it would become an industry defining clothing company. He simply wanted to build climbing gear that he couldn’t find in stores. Making the shift to a predominately softgoods company has certainly paid off for Chouinard and Patagonia as a company. Today, they are a household name, touching on a variety of outdoor sports industries. We love the “activist” mindset of Patagonia, they continue to provide excellent quality while also striving to be as environmentally and animal-treatment friendly as they can be. These are some of our favorite Patagonia pieces that we have in the store this year:
Roxy
Does anyone combine fashion and effectiveness better than Roxy. When Quicksilver started the Roxy brand in the early 1990s, it quickly began to dominate the Women’s outdoor wear industry. Today, Roxy actually accounts for almost thirty percent of Quicksilver’s total sales. Here are our select Roxy items for winter 2017:
Kuhl
No other brand yells “mountain man” more than Kuhl and that is exactly what founder Kevin Boyle envisioned when he started the company. From their innovative fleeces to their newly designed tough khakis, Kuhl is our choice for the manly mountain man in your life this year:
