While the rest of Coloradans are busy lamenting over the end of summer and grumbling about the nip in the air, we at Outpost Sunsport are rejoicing. After all, every falling leaf means we’re getting closer and closer to the opening day of Colorado’s best ski resorts. We’ve got the details on a few of our favorites:

Arapahoe Basin
Predicted Opening Date: Oct. 17
Approx. Driving Time from Fort Collins: 2 hours

Fun Fact: Arapahoe Basin’s run Pallavicini is one of the steepest and longest in Colorado.

Loveland Ski Area
