A couple months ago, we shared our excitement about partnering with Lift 23 and Irish Elementary School. We’d like to take a moment to thank the community for their participation and update you on the success of the campaign.

Just to recap, we partnered with Lift 23, the manufacturers of the most comfortable ski and snowboard socks around, during the holiday season to embark on a unique charity effort. For every pair of Lift 23 socks sold, we donated a pair of socks to underprivileged children attending Irish Elementary School, a dual language school in Fort Collins. By the end of Irish Elementary’s Holiday Give program, we had donated a whopping 100 pairs to the school’s families!

“We are so thankful that Lift 23 and Outpost Sunsport have chosen to partner with Irish Elementary,” said Kathleen Diamond, office manager at Irish Elementary. “A cozy pair of new socks are always appreciated and the kids love the ones Lift 23 gave them. It was a great beginning to the holiday season.”

Lift 23 is no novice to giving back to the community. The company was originally formed to provide socks to the more than 23,000 homeless children in New York City. They have since expanded their philanthropic efforts to more cities across the nation, and we can’t even begin to describe how happy we are to have had the opportunity to participate. Outpost owner Randy Morgan sums it up best:

“We are pleased to be able to not only provide our customers with great socks, but to help the kids in our community as well.”
