Get tickets now for November events!
Winter sports enthusiasts are encouraged to turn their living room, garage, backyard or basement into the ultimate screening room to experience the newest snow adventure from Warren Miller Entertainment, Future Retro. In an effort to keep audiences safer in the face of the pandemic, the company is debuting the 71st full-length feature film as their first-ever digital release. But don’t think that there will be less excitement because it won’t be hosted in a theater. The three virtual events streaming on different dates in November will bring the excitement of a movie premiere to you. The streaming event will include a one-hour virtual red carpet with athlete appearances, behind-the-scenes interviews, sponsor shout-outs and vintage throwbacks, hosted by Olympian and longtime Warren Miller narrator Jonny Mosely. As a viewer, you’ll still receive entries for door prizes, national sweepstakes and up to four coupon codes.
The film itself is a spectacle of exhilarating movie magic! Future Retro celebrates the connection between the past, present and future. In Future Retro, legendary skiers Scot Schmidt and the Egan brothers show a new crop of athletes how they were responsible for the extreme-skiing movement of the ’80s and ’90s, and the next generation of skiers and riders show what it means to challenge the status quo. Plus, skiers Lexi duPont and Amie Engerbretson journey to the heart of deep-rooted ski culture in Switzerland, and Protect Our Winters showcases world-class snowboarders Elena Hight, Danny Davis and Nick Russell in Antarctica, while the trio witnesses the impact of climate change.
The virtual ‘tour’ will take place as three regional events across the country:
